Nonprofits, neighborhood associations among recipients
(Portland, OR) – Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) and PP&R’s Portland International Raceway (PIR), North Portland Neighborhood Services (NPNS), and Portland’s Office of Community & Civic Life have awarded North Portland Trust Fund Placemaking Grants to 14 local organizations.
RC Enerson will get another chance at an NTT IndyCar Series ride when he drives for Carlin in this weekend’s Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
Enerson will drive the team’s No. 31 Chevrolet, bringing sponsorship from the Lucas Oil School where he is an instructor. Enerson tested with the team in February at Circuit of The Americas.

Ten years of Honda Indy Toronto race fan and partner generosity totals more than $820,000
TORONTO, ON (July 15, 2019) – Thanks to the incredible generosity of race fans, the Ontario Honda Dealers Association (OHDA) and the Honda Canada Foundation (HCF), more than $120,000 was raised for Make-A-Wish® Canada during the Honda Indy Toronto event. This marks the tenth consecutive year Make-A-Wish® fundraising efforts were an integral part of race weekend, which has generated a total of more than $820,000 for the organization dedicated to granting wishes for children with critical illnesses. All donations made during race festivities were matched dollar-for-dollar by the Honda Canada Foundation.
Celebrities, Military March and Flyover Add to the Festivities of Pre-race Ceremonies
TORONTO (July 14, 2019) – Not only will Robert Wickens drive an Arrow-modified Acura NSX in the pre-race ceremonies for today’s NTT IndyCar Series race at the Honda Indy Toronto, but the Guelph, Ont.-native will also follow it up by giving the command for 22 IndyCar drivers to start their engines.

TORONTO (June 27, 2019) – As Honda celebrates 50 years in Canada, one of its newer traditions is the support of Honda Fan Friday at the Honda Indy Toronto. Thanks to the Ontario Honda Dealers Association, spectators can make a voluntary donation to Make-A-Wish® Canada and receive free general admission on Friday, July 12 to experience the thrilling sights and sounds of the racing and festival event. Nearly $700,000 has been raised during Fan Friday and race weekend festivities over the years thanks to generous race fans.
Cars Spanning Over 60 Years of Racing History Will Turn Laps at Speed
LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 20, 2019) — The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) returns to the 2.4-mile, 15-turn road course in Lexington, Ohio, June 21-23. For the 37th consecutive year on the summer schedule, the Vintage Grand Prix will further extend its streak as the longest continuously running event held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
